DUPR 14 & 16 FALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

What: Wednesday Night MLP* League with Teams equally matched in skill
When: Wednesdays, 6-8pm starting September 6, 2023
Where: TBD between various Jacksonville/St Augustine and Clay County courts
Cost: The MLP team league will cost $50 per player, with 4-6 people per team. 2 Alternates are allowed.

MLP* (Mini League Pickleball)TEAM CONSTRUCTION:
Each team will have 4-6 players
4 players with combined DUPR ratings up to 16 total
2 alternates can be used as long as the MAX DUPR per team is met
Teams will play mens doubles, womens doubles and 2 Mixed doubles games per match.
Player combinations for each game will be determined by the Coach/Captain. If you have more than 4 players on your team, the designated team captain will be responsible for submitting the 4-person starting lineup each week. The regular season of the league will run 5 weeks and then there will be a playoff where the top 8 teams compete for the championship title and prizes.

Skill Level: Aggregate team rating for any 4-person weekly lineup from your team should target 16, and not exceed 16.3. Individual player levels should be a minimum of 3.25 and a max of 4.75. Given the variability of DUPR reliability, we will exercise discretion on a case by case basis.

In regular season weeks, each team will send 2 men and 2 women to face another team from their conference in a match consisting of two gendered games (MD and WD), and mixed doubles games. Games will be played rally scoring to 21 (freezes at 20&18).

Team Uniforms:
Team uniforms will be provided for every player at a cost of $15 per person
