DUPR 18 Round 1 -The Academy gives free lessons

In the most controversial event to date the Cohen Academy in their pro team uniforms came out on top with a massively heavy-sided mens team that came through in the dreambreaker with some very high level singles play to sweep the competition. This event saw the first Mini league Blue Card handed out and became the nucleus of the soon to be formed Blue Card Banger Team.

THE MVP for the event was Ian Morrison, who was the ONLY player to go 6-0 in match play. Runner Up was was Jared Cohen who put together an amazing team, and won every point in the dreambreaker that secured the overall win for his team.

The Best Partner Award goes to Sigrid Priessler who never stopped smiling and was a joy to watch even after her female partner went down with injury.

The Toughman Award goes to Leslie Hollis, for putting up with Austin mainly, but more so for playing the event with a badly sprained calf! She limped out for the dream breaker & won some points in singles. One tough lady.
